In the summer of 2010, I partnered with Atlanta-based musician/producer Matthew Smith to begin work on what we initially intended to be "a little folk record". Early on in the process, we realized that far from following a traditional production, these little folk songs would require large alternative aesthetics. Shadowlands is ultimately a creative expression, one I hope you'll enjoy.
